Welcome To New Hope Missionary Baptist Church

Minister Carmine G Frankson Sr. has served as Associate Minister of the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church since March 17, 2024. 

After studying Broadcast Communications at what is now SUNY Adirondack, Minister Frankson entered the United States Army serving Honorably until his discharge in 1991. Shortly after his discharge, Minister Frankson returned to Upstate New York where he pursued a career in Building Trades.

1996 found Minister Frankson returning to college to study Chemistry while also Re-Enlisting in the Army, this time in the Reserves located at the 1018th Quartermaster Company in Schenectady, NY.

In September of 2001, Minister Frankson found the reason to relocate from the Adirondacks to the Capital Region in his future wife, Dr. Nisha Stillwell-Frankson.

In March of 2002, Minister Frankson founded his home improvement company that would serve the Capital Region for over 20 years, but it was one service call that would forever change Minister Frankson’s life.

While taking on a small remodel project at the Welcome Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Albany, NY, the late Pastor Reverend Robert E. Graves invited Minister Frankson to attend Sunday service. This would lead to service in the house of the Lord for the next decade!

While at Welcome Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Minister Frankson served as a member of the Music Ministry as a drummer, as well as Vice-President of the Adult Choir.

Minister Frankson would leave Welcome Chapel in 2012 and join the Elijah Missionary Church in Albany where he would continue his work in the Music Ministry until 2016.

Minister Frankson was ordained in June 2015 outside of the Baptist Association through the Non-Denominational Universal Church, recognized with a Doctor of Divinity (honoris causa) as well as Doctor of Humanity (honoris causa)

Minister Frankson holds numerous course study Certificates from Hillsdale College as well as Dallas Theological Seminary. 

In September of 2023, Minister Frankson took over the Sunday School program from former Senior Sunday School teacher, Deacon John Moore.

Minister Frankson preached his initial sermon on March 17, 2024 at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church under the Pastorate Leadership of Reverend Charles U. Barber Sr. and was licensed to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, in the presence of Moderator Reverend Constance Knight, Vice- Moderator Reverend Charles U Barber Sr., Reverend Willie J Stovall Sr,. Vice President of Christian Education for HRFMBA Reverend Glendora Battle, as well as numerous Ministers, local and state officers, friends, and family; Minister Frankson officially became the Senior Sunday School Teacher for New Hope Missionary Baptist Church where he continues to serve the Lord and rightfully divide the word of truth.
